Brocacef Transport is responsible for the distribution of medicines and medical devices for all Brocacef subsidiaries in the Netherlands. To support the distribution process, they use DireXtion, to manage, plan and monitor the transport rides and shipments.
DireXtion supports the omni-channel principle at Brocacef. Both the distribution to pharmacies, hospitals and care institutions as well as the fine distribution from the pharmacy to the consumer. All this under conditioned conditions. Temperatures of the transshipment points and the rides are collected and DireXtion provides insight into what makes Temperature Controlled Distribution under GDP guidelines possible.
In addition, all PDAs (over 450) used in distribution are managed and monitored by VOICT.
PostNL Extra@Home uses DireXtion to support the entire distribution process in the BeNeLux. This enables them to plan the rides themselves, gain control over the process and give clients and receivers insight into the progress.
Extra@Home uses the mobile application DispatchLink to support the inbound, outbound and transshipment as well as the internal sorting process. With this Android-based app, the flow of goods is fully provided in Track & Trace.
PostNL uses DireXtion to support its processes in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and the border region in Germany..
Coolblue uses DireXtion for the delivery of its products in the BeNeLux and the German border areas. Both the distribution to the distribution points and the fine distribution is supported. In addition, the communication about near-real-time delivery times to the consumer is also arranged.
Coolblue chose VOICT’s software after an extensive selection process. An important reason is the great ease of use with which the planner of CoolblueBezorgt can create routes. This is where DireXtion distinguishes itself from other systems, says Remco De Jong, head of delivery of CoolblueBezorgt. “Another important reason is the close integration with Logistics.ONE, with which we take care of the execution of the rides. VOICT thus delivers a complete system, which has already proven itself at other companies”.
Coolblue uses DireXtion to support its processes in the Netherlands, Belgium and the border region in Germany. The plan algorithm and in particular the time slot services are provided by Plotwise.
MSN ensures fast and silent disposal of any type of waste generated by a company or organisation within 24 hours in any location in the Netherlands.
Whether it concerns industrial waste, PMD, paper shredding or the exchange of roll containers or mini presses, DireXtion offers MSN the flexible support to carry out this process as efficiently and optimally as possible.
A major additional advantage is that MSN can work completely paperless and thus make an extra contribution to the environment.
The new planning programme is a good step in the professionalisation of Milieu Service Nederland and prepares us for further growth.
Several collaborating pharmacists in Belgium united in the General Pharmaceutical Association (APB) use DireXtion and DireXtion Mobile to support the home delivery of medicines and medical devices.
Orders can be sent to DireXtion via an interface and/or entered manually into the system. At a predetermined time, the journeys are automatically planned and made available on the delivery driver’s mobile phone. Customers can be informed about the (real-time) delivery time and the app guarantees proof of delivery.
Alliance Healthcare is using DireXtion to increase its Operational Excellence with data-driven decisions, full Track & Trace on the KPIs of Completeness, Timeliness and Conditions of Carriage and the ability to communicate with recipients about the expected delivery time.
“On several levels this is going to help us. Not only do we offer a bit of extra service to our customers/end customers, we can also manage our own processes better. For example, lost containers can be traced back to the last scanning moment. At the moment of delivery, an electronic Proof of Delivery (ePOD) is created. This gives us insight into the total process of a shipment and allows us to accurately answer customers’ questions about their shipments at all times. Not only is this going to save us time, we’re also improving the quality of our processes,” said Alliance.
To provide insight into shipment conditions, all temperature sensors (Dyzle) are linked to DireXtion.
